SHEA strives to set the agenda for future healthcare epidemiology research and is dedicated to advancing the skills and contributions of young investigators to this field. The SHEA EPI Project is a competition designed to identify important research proposals that can shape our understanding of transmission, prevention methods and implementation issues. This unique first-time competition, will award the winner a grant of $20,000 to conduct the study using the SHEA Research Network. The top 5 finalists will receive a $500 award from the SHEA Education & Research Foundation.
